  Just off the main road on a side street, Da Mimmo is a very cool looking place with a nice vibe and a charm all of it's own.  I came here one evening to grab a slice of pizza.
  
  The staff was friendly and welcoming, but I must confess the pizza wasn't all the best I've had in Milan - not by a lot...
  
  The pizza is deep-dish, with very thick, moist dough; more than a little too moist, actually.  The toppings are generous, but the slice was greasy and very heavy.  One slice filled me up, and I doubt I'll come back for another.  
  
  Bottom line: The pizza will do in a pinch, and the atmosphere of this place is very cool.  There are worse places to eat if you're hungry.

  Cool place to grab a slice.  Very casual and easy-going place.  There will be someone who speaks English and can help you out.  Pizza is good - not the best I've had.  But it's a totally cool grab and go type of place that you should visit if you're in the area.  No need for a special trip over there.
